This is a little different from what I have suggested before, which was to try a dance style that you might have considered, but not pursued.
Today, I’m suggesting that you step beyond your usual “comfort zone” to try a dance style that you had NOT previously considered.
A non-dancer friend of mine (yes, however unlikely, it is possible to have one or two of them) is currently taking a 6-week exercise class. This friend happens to passionately HATE ballet; however, when her teacher recommended ballet classes to strengthen bones, she is seriously thinking about it. So – if she can think beyond her “box,” it’s possible for any of us!
